You'd think Kenny committed Treason and brought in IMF. Cowen had all in stitches in Galway at 3.30a.m.but he was "not impaired" -DD Power. FF=Publican páirtí an IMF.
heard the Morning Ireland interview of the Young FG spokesman about 8.30 a.m. today. Thought the interviewer was bad mannered and unprofessional. Several times the YFG spokesman tried to explain or qualify their view on matters raised, but was not allowed to do so. YFG should complain to the Broadcasting Commission.
Generally youth wings of parties are not supposed to be followers of the party line in every respect - entitled to develope and articulate different views.
Yes she is, but that's not a Front Bench post. She's basically Billy Timmins' deputy.
Which still doesn't mean she's on the front bench. To be honest, most of the party just look at Creighton with bemusement these days, wondering why she's so determined to turn herself into a Dublin version of Austin Deasy. She is in the scrum pushing the front row like hell and running to Miriam Lord every times someone tries to gouge her or pull her down
"Elite - a small superior group; esp one that has a power out of proportion to its size." (Oxford English Dictionary)
The majority cannot therefore be the elite.

FG always had people like her, remember Liam Skelly who won the bye election in Dublin W when Dick Burke was tempted off to Europe by CJ Haughey in a stroke that backfied. He though he was God's gift. So also was Austin Deacy as you sasy, and his son John who inherited the seat, tho he is quiet of late. So also is Roaring Ring of Mayo, who boasts i'll be a minister too. and is always braying on local radio on every populist topic. Those folk think de are bigger than the party.

But first get up out of your chairs, open the window, stick your head out, and yell, and say it: "I'M AS MAD AS HELL, AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE!"
That's all they need. A financial adviser who was trying to peddle holiday homes in Cape Verde a few short years ago. At least George Lee was well-known when he stood. Hobbs' fifteen minutes expired quite some time ago, along with his credibility. Is that the sound of a barrel being scraped?![]()
