Bray's faux-mayor and delegation visit Dublin, Ca

Last night, we were invited to play at the annual St Pat's “green and white” gala at Dublin, California, which is twinned with Bray, wicklow. A very large man with an equally impressive mayoral chain delivered a homily of behalf of the burghers of Bray, and the board he chairs. Incidentally, he said nothing whatsoever about the many attractions of Bray, but told mainly cute-hoor anecdotes about how clever the Irish builders are

Bray is not a city, so I checked the record. The chair of the UDC is John Ryan of fine gael. The delegation to Dublin was headed by Eugene Finnegan, and - since the flights were booked only this week – probably cost the taxpayer $10,000 or so.

    WTF?

    WTF?
Was there just the two of them (1FG, 1 Ind) Bray Town Council - Bray Town Councillors and who picked up the tab, Bray UDC or themselves.

And importantly, was it a good night??
But first get up out of your chairs, open the window, stick your head out, and yell, and say it: "I'M AS MAD AS HELL, AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE!"

Would appear wtf was asleep during cllr Finnegans address - a pleasure he denied us during the racket of a performance of high volume and low talent. I can not be sure who this person is but I have a good idea based on the simularities between his post and the rude behaviour of one individual on the night. Cllr Finnegan did indeed tell some jokes in keeping with the spirit of the night as did the Mayor of Dublin and the chair of the Sister City Comm, and they seem to have been received well, but he also spoke of Bray and encouraged all to come and visit. As regards the $100,000 airfare, even wtf should be aware Bray is in Ireland - not on Mars.
