No it's not. Most issues should be discussed and agreed with parliamentary party. Some issues mainly potentially making people in said parliamentary people unemployment need to be dealt with differently, as people naturally disagree with the notion that their job or potential future job should be destroyed. It's not rocket science.

Slight hint of elitismJack lynch had a "brilliant" professional economist Martin O'Donoghue as finance minister who destroyed the economy by combining substantial tax cuts with huge increases in public spending in1977 to an already expanding economy. Not satisfied with this,Bertie had two "brilliant" finance ministers McCreevy(chartered accountant) and Cowen(solicitor) who repeated the same dose but to a greater extent. A schoolteacher with a little common sense, and an ability to drag an almost dead political party from the brink of disaster to inevitable government, and who is not tainted by corruption seems like a refreshing change.Genius is not required to run the Irish economy, just honesty,a sense of fairness,an ability to motivate and get the best out of people. Enda Kenny has it all. Better get used to him.His inevitable 10 years as Taoiseach will be a trying time for you and Lucinda.
God save Ireland.

What I'm getting at here is that HBAP first praised Kenny for ramming his seanad proposal through without consultation then, an hour later, he praised FG as a party that isn't run like that. Those are mutually exclusive positions and I'm wondering how he can reconcile them.
I thought Creighton argued the point very well on the lunchtime news today. It didn't sound like she was point scoring. Rather, it just wasn't a good idea....
