And if you think there was nothing wrong with it, why did the Fine Gael Cllr remove it?

Was he wrong, or are you?
You posted it! Where did Independent get it? If someone used a backdoor/false identity to bypass Facebook privacy settings then quite possibly an offence has been committed upon a private individual who is obviously not herself a public figure! Defence of journalistic interest cannot be used in this regard.

Furthermore, For what purpose did you post it? What is your inference upon the young lady concerned?

You really need to calm down. Getting your knickers in a twist with me won't help.

Why do you think the Fine Gael Cllr took the picture down in double quick time?

If you work back from the answer to that, you may be able to figure out the rest.

I would just point out though, that you presented a fact based on the photo. I disagree with what you've said. And you do take full resonsibility for what you post here.

I'm awaiting a comment from FG anyways.

The fundamental question here is 'why are people so stupid'? I mean, who the f#ck posts their personal holiday snaps on a public website, especially if they have any connection with the political sphere? The world is full of morons, without a doubt.

The "fact" I posted was that she was giving the Nazi Party salute. What do you think she was doing?

Now I could be wrong, but if you're standing beside a waxwork of Adolf Hitler and you raise your right arm with the hand outstretched, it looks enough like the salute associated with the boys in the black uniforms to make the inference.
Maybe she was pointing out how big Leo Varadkar's ego is, or something equally innocuous, and so I will be hearing from her solicitors.

I can only say, that's a day in court I will be looking forward to.

Who is he going to sue? The internet?

THE Fine Gael councillor who took pictures of his new wife giving a Nazi salute beside a waxwork dummy of Adolf Hitler has threatened to sue over their publication.
I'll sue, says FG councillor over his Hitler photo - News, Frontpage - Herald.ie
