Unlike you, I presume, I hope you're right.

Either you don't believe that yourself or you're a relative of his.

Of course, they are giving Enda Kenny their backing, it's the usual circle the wagons behaviour.
Can't be rocking the boat, now.
A total lack of suprise, this. Politics as usual. Party first, never mind the State.

By the way, this has been the first thing in this that actually made me laugh. A cynical laugh, but a laugh none the less.

"I've always supported our party leaders" says Richard.

He's not being unequivocal. Or is that my imagination.

By the way, supporting Kenny is not a matter of putting the party first.

The first Kenny heard of George Lee's disillusionment was last Tuesday, or so he says.

Has Kenny successfully gotten Fine Gael into Gov't yet?

    It's seen as Party first.

Rightly so. Bang goes FG's chance to lead the next govt. Unless of course that was the proverbial kiss of faith, so questions of Enda's leadership will mutter on

I hope not. Kenny is a lovely guy, but he's very obviously not leadership material. That much is clear.

As several people have already said, he should have gone after losing the last General Election. That election defeat was unnecessary, and party leaders traditionally step down after suffering such defeats.

I think expressing any danger of another FF victory would be exaggeration, but Enda is clearly not an asset as leader.
