Kenny has done FG some service - however he is a builder not a leader. It is now time to hand over to a younger generation of leader who would appeal to to the 30 somethings - where better for FG to go than Leeside for Simon Coveney. And of course who better to win the Park for FG than ... of course Enda Kenny!
Are you taking the p.ss or just plainly naive? Coveney was the dolt gullible enough to support marathon asylum seeker Pamela Scamela in her attempt to stay here, even when evidence of the fraudulent documentation submitted to the court came to light and he was also the agent from FG head office who oversaw the shafting of Colm Burke in Cork. Not leadership material, not by a long shot.
"But do 'climategate' revelations justify the sceptics’ claims that this is “the final nail in the coffin” of global warming theory? Not at all. They damage the credibility of three or four scientists. They raise questions about the integrity of one or perhaps two out of several hundred lines of evidence."

There are times when you are simply required to be impolite. There are times when condescension is called for!
- Aaron Sorkin writing as President Bartlet to Obama, NYT 21/09/2008
You can't build a smart economy based on dumb decisions.
- Richard Bruton 18/12/2008
My own opinion is that Bruton does not want to be leader.
He wants to be Minister for Finance - everything else is a distraction.
It suits him to have Kenny deal with all the other sh1t.
If he wanted to be leader of FG, he could have made his move anytime within the past 5 years.
