Was always going to be hard for FG to keep 3/5 in Dublin South, the graveyard of the previous poll topper.

Exactly what did he have to offer?
Had he any suggestions or ideas to
    help with the current situation?
    Does anyone believe his
morbid negativity was a good thing?
    Good luck and good riddance!!

I'd imagine FG's flapping on making cuts in public spending has a lot to do with it. FG in theory is in favour of making cuts yet oppose almost every single one that is then made. I suppose he could just not take the hypocrisy.

Of course, he should of been handing out flowers of sunshine to people and tell them everything is grand and that half of million people will be back to work in no time.

I am not at all surprised, he was brought at a time to increase media profile of the party, he was definitely going to be elected. In my opinion he is too weak, yes very good at explaining what has gone before in laymans terms but was never going change future policies. It's a shame for him really, he should have stayed in RTE.

Rarely is my flabber truly ghasted, but this left my mouth open. This is truly the biggest FU that any party has ever made. Enda's a goner.

Certainly his negativity was missed on RTE, he was very convincing for Joe Soap.
