    Exodus of Government Advisers

does anyone know whats causing the mass exodus of advisers and press handlers from fianna fail over the last few months?

Joe lennon (of gift grub fame) is gone from Bertie's right hand, to take up some big bucks job at the health services executive

Robert Marshall has quit as fianna fail press secretary to go into the private sector

Dan Pender, martin cullen's spin doctor, left a few months ago. There was an article in the phoenix about it at the time

Tony Cotter, big pal of bull o donoghue, has left his department too.

why are all these people jumping ship at such an important time for fianna fail? did they see the writing on the wall?

I understand Gerry Hickey is also moving on.

Seems quite routine, you’re always going to have changes and now is the most opportune time, any later and their successors would have have enough time to plan for the election.

Good riddance look at FF's-ratings. Out with the old in with the new. FF needs a new PR-team to plan a nationwide billboard campaign to counter the negative messages about the govt coming from the Blueshirts and highlight the govt's acheivements e.g. "We have cut waiting-times" with Bertie and other ministers on them. Otherwise they are just acting defeatist arguably.

People deserting a sinking ship should come as no surprise
The crown above the red hand is that of the O'Neill rulers of Ulster---not the Saxe-coborg gotha usurpers crown

And that just sums up everything that is wrong with this Government and its muppet yapping-dog cheerleaders.

Your first reaction to any issue is what? Work harder? Get some projects completed on time and on budget? Find areas where youse could make real improvements in the quality of life of the people quickly?

    No.

You want to phone up the PR muppets and furiously spin your way out of trouble rather than doing the job you were elected to do.

    Pathetic.

People sensing the end is near and looking for their golden parachute.

On the other had, so long in one job must become very tedious
