    LET THEM BE JUDGED!

    Having looked at Mick O'Toole's thread about the to be formed Protest Party and its list of "proposals", it got me thinking about FF's 2002 Election Manifesto. Here it is in all its 95 glorious pages of finery;

    Well, in the amended words of the Clash, should (they) stay or should (they) go and what do people think?
    I'm back after a self-enforced exile

    I think they should go.

    Even FG and Lab. can’t make a total boll*x of the country in five years.

    FF should go into opposition, take the time to stand back and look at any problems we have now (mostly problems of success) and hopefully come up with some imaginative solutions. This sort of thinking just cannot be done in Government and 18 out of the last 20 years is too long a stretch to continue to maintain high standards.

    Disaster Looms

    FF I dont think realise what is about to befall them. A lot of their high polling TDs are not standing. Here in Carlow there is talk of only one FF surviving out of the three that were elected last time.

    Whether FG and Labour have the numbers to form a government is also doubtful.

    If the Independents again increase their numbers added to SF who no party wil touch the election of a stable government may not occur.
