Eamon O' Cuiv: potential party leader?

FF avators please. What would you make of O' Cuiv running for the party leadership position? As for myself, I think he's certainly among the top candidates- an honest, integral and intelligent figure who takes after his grandfather in so ways, including in personal qualities. He has a lot of respect within the party, and across the board generally- so I think some thought should be given to him becoming the next party leader.

Like it matters who runs Fianna Fáil 'the gombeen party'. The Irish people will elect slightly different gombeens next time around.

I don't think he would be good in Party leadership but should definatly move up the ranks ahead of inept Cullen, and O'Keefe.

Hanafin for Taoiseach, I think a woman can lead us out of this financial crisis.

Have you ever met Mary H? This country doesn't need to go back to making polcies based on what an archbishop tells us.

There is a function on this site where FFers can discuss issues among themselves. If you put such a topic on an open thread, don't be surprised if those not well disposed to your party come onto it giving their own trenchant views.

This is meant in a friendly way, and, as such, I will demurr from giving mine.
