Fianna Fail 40/1 for No Euro seats: Paddypower

OK unlikely to happen but it is just too generous to pass up particularly when they price 5 or more FF seats at only 20/1 which is never going to happen. I think the Euros more so than the locals is the electorates chance to give FF a right kicking.

I would reccommend a 1 pt stake on FF for no seat at 40/1 and a 0.2pt bet on FF to win one seat at 6/1. Thereby you will be covered in the event that FF do win 1 seat.

For a small punter that could €10 or €20 at 40/1 and €2 or €4 at 6/1 respectively.

For a bigger punter it would be €100+ at 40/1 and €20+ at 6/1 etc.

    Full FF seat betting

    0 - 40/1
    1 - 6/1
    2 - 9/4
    3 - evens
    4 - 2/1
    5+ - 20/1

The 2 seats at 3/1 could be a nice bet.

ATM, I can't see them winning a seat in the N/W with Mooney, but then Labour are too weak to take one there. And I'd prefer FF to take a seat than Ganster...sorry I mean Ganley. FG could be well placed to take a second??

Munster, I know everyone is saying Crowley is a safe bet, but for the life of me I can't understand why FF are running O Keefee in Cork as well. That is going to split their vote.
FG are doing well there, and A Kelly is running a good campaign for labour.

Leinster, IMO Alyward is a weak and unwilling candidate, but then again he'll probably scrape in because yet again Labour have a useless candiate.

Dublin, this is an interesting one. I think Gay and P. De Rossa are safe enough. It'll be a dog fight between Ryan and MLM.

    2 is 9/4 KN.

The 40-1 is very tempting, but I cann't see Crowley not getting in

Don't touch this price with a barge poll.
I'm not saying it isn't possible but it is a criminal price.
If you add up the odds PP are quoting for FF to secure at least one seat in individual constituencies, the odds actually work out at nearly 1,500/1.

Also I would point out that the six outcomes quoted come to a simply outrageous 135%.
If you quoted that in Gowran Park on a six runner handicap, you'd be run off the course.

    Typical PP.
Nice to see they haven't he balls to price the by elections.
Probably waiting for Ivan, Betfair and the opinion polls to do their work for them.

That is why I recommeded the saver for 1 seat at 6/1.

A 35% over round although excessive is not that excessive compared to Irish horse racing. UK racing can go from 6-20% over round, 30% is not at all unusual in Irish racing, making 35% not overly excessive compared to the norm.

It would mean that if you got the over round down to 10% then the price should be closer to 55/1.

1/5 for Sean Kelly to get a Seat. Wow. Is he that safe.

    1/10 Crowley as well.

The maximum stake for 0 at 40 - 1 is 15 euro. I have put it on. Thanks OP.

Would be a good bet without Crowley. Are they giving any odds without?

North-west or whatever they are calling Connaught Ulster now, is looking very dodgy. No Naughton and no replacement!!
