Peter principle?

Masterclass in equivocation, bluster, double-speak, blame-sharing, brass neck and nonsense from Peter Power on RTE's Morning Ireland (just before 08.30).

if it was the same bloke i heard its a gov rep who said , despite admiting the E voting affair was a total balls up that had to be abandoned , the gov had no responsability for it.

you cant write the ********************e he came out with

all down to "the expert advise they got at the time". funny all the experts i knew said it was a cluster ******************** waiting to happen. RTE being RTE though didnt push the little weasal with the fact NO ONE in the dept behind this affair knew ANYTHING about computers- as was revealed on either today FM or newstalk yesterday.

oh and apparently this is "leadership" in action.

Oh the Germans and Dutch are no longer doing it so neither are we.

Last year FF went to town on FG for 'copying and pasting' a british govt proposal.
Cant have it both ways Peter.

Thanks for assisting me with elaborations. I was so annoyed at listening to it that I did the post. Then had to dash for the train so could not elaborate myself.

Couldn't agree more. It was so masterful, it had to be prepared before-hand by a spin-consultant. It proves why this generation of FF is a spent force. They don't have the basic honesty to admit they made a mistake, or else they are simply too stupid to understand what was wrong with what they did.

It has to be one or the other (or a bit of both )

Who was it again that said?
"Give up yer aul pencils"
What a shower of feckless wasters.
With our money.
Its only a chat, we ain't the world council.
In 2000 the Women's Institute in Britain gave Tony Blair the slow hand clap to demonstrate their contempt.
It was dignified, restrained and effective.Doesn't Bertie deserve the same scorn. No shouting, no abuse, no agression just a relentless slow clap whenever he speaks in public would be enough to end that man's presidential fantasy.

I heard it, absolutely disgusting. You would nearly prefer to be listening to one of the McCarthy-Dundon gang.
