    End of days for Biffo.

Following comments from Magennis and Brady, some FFers are openly critical of their leader now. This is exactly the same as what happened prior to CJHs departure. The motivations may appear to have been different but they were really the same.

Now that it is not only ok, but expected of FFers to criticise Biffo, how much longer can he hold out? My guess is that he will be gone before the end of the year.

Who wants the gig now? Last week a fairly senior civil servant told me there will be civil disorder after the rent subsidy and other cuts kick in,surprised it's so quiet this far etc.

I hope it's not that bad.But ,frankly, Cowen should stick around - or call an election.

I have no doubt that people are going to get some hop when they see the payslips in May. Regarding the cuts in Early Childhood, Mortgage relief and rent relief, halfing of the dole for under 20's, are these all kicking in on May day.

Just because 2 men and a dog rattle the cage a little bit does not mean anything.

I think people are over reacting. Brian Cowen has been the unluckiest Taoiseach we have had. It's not his fault. He probably saw this coming as Finance Minister but it's like been in a house and there is a flood outside and its creeping up on the house and you know it's coming but there is flip all you can do about it. There is nothing he could have had done.

If we have had of saved more money during the good years people would have moaned and called for elections.

Your damned if you do and your damned if you don't

As a member of FF I stand firmly behind Brain Cowen as Leader and as our Taoiseach.

Unluckiest my arse. If he saw this coming as Finance Minister why didn't he do something to stop it.
