They stand for nothing apart from the lust of office.

Staunch FF typifies exactly what FF stand for. Lying, misdirection, spin, coverups, delusion and saying whatever it takes to keep hold of power.

Don't know what you think your achieving but all your doing is reinforcing the notion that FF are creeps.

You are reinforcing the fact you support clowns who not beaten FF since 1982 and have lost the last 6 elections. Dont you think its time you voted FF ?

I can hardly imagine a thought more dangerous to democracy and free thought. Cheers staunchy, you've confirmed, yet again, our prejudices against your party.

(btw your post before that made no sense at all. try writing the essay in word and then copy and paste it into your browser.)
"But do 'climategate' revelations justify the sceptics’ claims that this is “the final nail in the coffin” of global warming theory? Not at all. They damage the credibility of three or four scientists. They raise questions about the integrity of one or perhaps two out of several hundred lines of evidence."

Actually i don't. Last Time my votes went between FG, Labour and Independent.
Only ever got half-way interessted in politics out of sheer frustration at how expensive FF drove houseprices, which i could see even ten years ago could end in nothing but tears. Since then the sheer STUPIDITY, corruption and greed endemic within FF has made me loathe them and their supporters.

You mightn't like my opinion but at least its an opinion I formed freely, without having inherited it from my mammy and daddy. What about you: you seriously going to tell me that you support Ff because you independently decided that they were an honorable, capable party?

Edit: Actually the bolded bit just demonstrates exactly how ye FF's think. Ye care little about principle or the country and instead only care about POWER. I mean, why indeed vote for someone on principle when we can just vote for the likely winners and try and get on the gravy train?? Disgusting.

Prejudice is older than prostitution so can well understand prejudice against FF. What isnt nice is the political bigotry coming from clowns who have turned this into a one party state

As I understand it, the argument from the likes of "staunch ff" is that it is Fine Gael's fault that FF are stupid, greedy, corrupt, incompetent, sleazy, creepy, mafioso, vermin. And FG's fault that we effectively live in a one-party kleptocracy.

FF have to rule the country, and run it into the ground every 20 years or so, because nobody else wants to do it, apparently.

I would love the luxury of being extreme right wing as in FG or extreme left wing as in Labour and the other bunch who are even more left than Labour. Problem people like you cannot grasp is that someone has to run the country and the people of this country whether its how they voted or the system of voting used have deemed FF, despite the corruption of no more than 10 individuals in 84 years, to be their choice. When you SS people realise that an obsession with dirty politics against FF isnt enough then it might be possible you put together a programme the people will accept. Oh, in the case SS means smear and snear
