Regarding the first point, I didn't say it was (if you read the post). What I pointed out was that his profligacy was bad enough before the recession but is ten times worse now.

As for the second point, what was he doing calling out a helicopter in the frist place?

They should have pushed him out the door of the helicopter the useless piece of cr*p from Waterford. Says alot about people in Waterford that they elect someone like him time and again. Ditto other places.

We've still a way to go before Irish people understand the link between their vote for people like Cullen and O'Dea and Coughlan and all the others and why Ireland is riddled with corruption.

Until that lesson sinks in nothing will change and seeing as 30% are still saying they'll vote FF it's going to be a long hard journey.

You'd think nearly 100 years into independence we'd have grasped that pulling a stroke on the 'government' 'up in Dublin' is actually ripping off yourself and your own children not the Brits.

We know Bertie was the absolute worst Taoiseach we have ever had by far - worse than CJH and worse than Cowen. Cullen is easily in the running for the worst Minister we have ever had - even worse than Harney and McCreevy. I think the most recent generation of FF put any of the bad apples in previous generations in the shade.

They'll probably make him Taoiseach the way things are going for FF.
