    I hvent posted in months, but I think I'll frame that opening post. So well written.

    I think we are beyond seriousness now. We are effectively beyond debate.
    The letter is beautifully written . It could have been written by Johnston, but it no longer matters. The best thing is for the country to fall to a level where it requires serious institutional reform. Cowens and their ilk will continue to plague our nation until we institutionalise proper constitutional checks and balances( like a proper senate which holds the Dail to account) and direct democracy.

    I believe that we are currently at the stage where we need serious institutional reform. Unfortunately this fact is not yet clear to both those making the decisions and the wider public. The question now is how far things need to drop before in inevitability of change becomes self-evident...
