I think her imposition on the ticket in 2002 reeked of the sort of nonsense that makes local organisations despair at HQ interventions. She was a useless candidate and cost us a seat when we were losing them all around us.
Dan Sullivan. I was back but we still couldn't all have a vote.

Anyway - back to the thread topic... This appears to have been the first prosecution of its kind, under the legislation. Anyone think we're likely to see others?

What is truly hilarious is that sentencing won't be until after the locals. Is he running again?

Great to see another FF'r getting exposed, all the time it has to be our Judiciary who deliver the goods on the gombeen men and long may it continue, the younger ones get more brazen than their elders.

With luck they might be able to implicate the CC who keeps reminding one of A Kerry version of Pee Flynn, does the CC also have a similar family.

So when will he be fired from hi positions on the boards of Fáilte Ireland and Tourism Ireland ?
Oh wait this is Ireland we will probably be told he is an honourable dedicated servant to the public

Shouldn't he be banned from running in future elections ?
I guess it is the same answer as above.

Maybe this Judge will offer him some advice like his fellow Judges did to the Stroke Fahey and Joe Burke, who knows some advice might also be offered to Biffo's mate, Killally.

Well this is nothing new is it. It seems that we have accepted corrupt politians and there hold over the media. Nothing happened to Bertie and nothing will happen here. As he will appeal it, the same as Stroke Fahy does in the west. FF The Party of corruption.

Vote for us NOW. And we will F^&K you later!
Time for the Irish Goverment to do the honorable thing and go. If thay have any honour left.

One can only hope. I've sent a list of likelies to the CAB already.
