Fianna Fáil's Candidates individually in opposition to their own collective policies

Fianna Fáil's Candidates each and all, individually in opposition, to their own Collective Policies.

They will come to every door, cautiously and submissively, to greet, to meet, every voter. They will listen to the barrage of abuse from many who have suffered under their regime.

They will listen and allow the outpouring of abuse to have its therapeutic effect, for they know that those with a grievance are diffused by a listening ear.

They will add their own voice of criticism to the offensive policy that has caused the pain and the hurt.

They will criticise their their own Ministers and colleagues and go as far as necessary to convince the voters that "they" are " on your side"

They will be strengthened in knowing that their colleagues are doing the same thing on the paths and door steps throughout the land.

The People will know many as their Neighbours, Friends, Relations, and work colleagues, and even though they know and regard them as fine people as individuals, they must know that Fianna Fáil as the collected sum of its members is much much less than the sum of all its individual members.

I must say, I had to laugh at reading a "notic of parliamentary motion" notice in my local paper signed by 4 FF TDs (including my local one), stating that they had pit down an emergency motion to "cap the pay on higher civil servants and banking officials"

Nobody told the paper, that the night before, all 4 of the same TD's voted against the same motion in the Dail when it was proposed in members time by the Labour Party

To answer your question directly. No they won't realise it!

In most cases this tactic will work a dream!

FF eating themselves - that's the best news I've heard in a long time. I hope they give each other indigestion.

Personally I wont be falling for any of it. They all vote party lines and I know that wont change. So a vote for a FF candidate is a vote for FF. FF should not be allowed next nor near any political decision EVERY AGAIN. Shouldn't have been left near one before either.
