I had to laugh at Hannafin the other day on Newstalk, she feels we should push forward the vote for Lisbon but not have a general election because of the cost and distraction from our currents woes. I thought it was strange during the Lisbon campaign that our tax euros were used to promote an issue that we hadn't decided we were in favour of yet. How much did that cost us?
