Fianna Fail will re brand for the next election

Already in Meath we see an infiltration of pressure groups by Fianna Fail figures, who are keen to control anti Government pressure groups.

The strategy is effectively to re brand FF activists as by the infiltration of pressure groups, in what is essentially re branding.

Just as Volkswagen found their market share capped at a particular level the decided that they could increase market share by a goodly percentage by the use of the SKoda brand so too will FF do the political equivelent.

If FF could attract 10 to 15% of the electorate it would still wield a lot of power through the Man cohort of die hard support and the new flag of convenience.

    Anyone else see this happening?

Can you say which sort of groups your talking about?

The electorate are not thickos. FFers are FFers, no matter what banner they stand under.

Also, Meath FFers are a particularly pathetic group of parish-pump gombeens, so no surprise that they should seek to do something like this

The best survival strategy for FF is to re brand

All of the FF seats in the Councils will not fit in the Life boats of SS 25%

Pressure groups like the Pylon Action group in the north Leinster area are being infiltrated by FF activists with a view to securing nominations from the action groups if candidates are to be fielded in the locals.

The same will happen at national level.

The PDS effectively became a Fianna Fail Flag of convenience.

Once a new party emerges it will be infiltrated by FF activists and used as a FF flag of convenience.

I think there's more to politics, and life, than shouting "Fianna Fail Boo!", anyway

That name has rarely worked in the past, doubt it'll work now.
