Monday night wee Willie O`Dea took the wrath of the audience on Q&A and was forced to apologise to the elderly for the sins of his government. Where is Mary "from the Glens" Coughlan, Dermot Ahern, John "tree hugging" Gormally, Mary "mammy" Hanafin. Are they gone to ground when a little bit of trouble comes upon them. They will probably look for political asylum in Iraq when the real recession starts to bite.

I heard Hanafin on newstalk @ lunch yesterday, she reckoned everything is going to be ok and that the stock markets were starting to rebound. Yes, she said this....as for ahern + mickey martin? they are keeping well out of view because they are getting ready to plan their leadership coups.

The thing that confuses me most is how did these people become ministers in the first place? When Ahern was there (I refuse to call him Bertie) he took up the media's entire attention while you didn't really notice the sacks of sh.ite he had assembled in cabinet backing him up. Look around that cabinent and you will not see one person who fills you with the slightest bit of confidence.
