Did an FF councillor condemn the Larkin "loan"?

It was just on the telly that some FF councillor has described the payment of money to Celia Larkin from the BT account as "unacceptable" (or words to that effect).

In an interview, Min. Hanafin was confronted with it, and Brian Hayes hit her with it quite hard too. I'm surprised I've not seen anything about it on here, so I'll start the ball rolling, I suppose.
When you see the words "Mises" or "Hayek" in someone's post, just ask yourself: do I really want to ban paper money and go back to gold?

You have to pity the kind of people who buy into conspiracy theories. I find the following to be the saddest words on the internet: "Re: connection between Bilderberg puppet lady gaga and viral outbreak in ukraine "

And Hanafin pretty much agreed in what I saw as the start of the end? Or was I reading too much into it?

Our results come as a dissident FF councillor has chosen to lash out at his senior party colleagues calling on the party trustees to investigate the circumstances surrounding the loan to Celia Larkin.

Cllr Barry Conway said the dig-out was totally unacceptable and that there is "increasing unease" among FF members. Speaking to the Sunday Independent, Cllr Conway said he did not clear his statement through party HQ and that his actions in comparison with the lack of concern from those within Leinster House shows a clear disparity in feeling among senior members and the grassroots.

The widening gulf in opinion between Fianna Fail and the public was starkly reflected in a separate nationwide phone poll conducted yesterday in which a staggering 93 per cent of those polled said that FF and Bertie's St Luke's team were not justified in giving Celia Larkin £30,000.

Would he be "one of Hanafin's councillors", so to speak? Because I thought her attempts to defend Ahern on TWIP tonight were particularly half-hearted. Start of something?
"Elite - a small superior group; esp one that has a power out of proportion to its size." (Oxford English Dictionary)

The majority cannot therefore be the elite.

Yeah, it seemed to us watching it that she was not interested in fighting this energetically.

Did someone in FF just find standards? Bravery? Honesty? A willingness to actually represent the Irish people rather than corruption? There may be hope yet. Too little to late.

    Lets see:

Condemm bertie for corruption - yes.
Condemm FF for not having the moral standards to stand up to corruption - yes

    Guilty as charged.

When any party deserves credit, I'm quiet willing to give it. A lone councillor speaking the truth does not absolve FF of the fact they refuse to act in the face of corruption. Maybe FF should go take lessons in morals from this councillor.

So yes, I'l be guilty of the above until FF proves otherwise. Its far better than being guilty of lying, tax dodging, stealing from party coffers, stealing from the Irish people...
