I will agree that we had members that are not perfect having said that I would not include Ahern in the above statment giving the service he has given the country this past 10 years and the work that Reynolds put into laying the foundations of the northern peace process during his short tenure work that Ahern continued
Oliver Cromwell loved his family. Adolf Hitler painted nice pictures. Just because someone did something good does not excuse the bad they did. What Ahern and Reynolds did policywise was their job. THat does not excuse their other alleged behaviour.

Reynolds did not lay the foundations for the NI peace process Garrett FitzGerald did that in 1985 with the AIA, remember the one the current corrupt, lying, money laundering, non tax compliant Taoiseach, that you call your leader voted against.
By 2020, 12.75Lts of petrol will cost you just under €30, today it will cost you €16.42 exactly.

Nationalists hated that, and think it set the peace process back. The peace process was started by John Hume and Gerry Adams.

exactly, ahern has ************************ all do with the peace process ( he did enjoy showing up for pics with his camera shy buddy Tony, the same Tony that took ahern so seriously that he would not shut down the nuclear junk yard just beside us )

I will admit that no one man/woman can claim responsibilty for the sucess of the peace process so far but the least you can do is admit that both Reynolds and Ahern put a huge amount of work into bringing peace to this country I have a great deal of respect for FitzGerald i will admit that..you are hitting a very low note indeed....

We will assume you were too young to remember and that they don't bring history in school up to the '80s yet.
Nationalists, a.k.a. the SDLP loved it.
    Republicans, a.k.a. SF hated it.
