This is the 'stunning' story we were waiting for. Ahern's a two-faced hypocrite and dealt with dodgy customers.. Underwhelming so far...

Agreed, toxic. No knockout blow there but another cut or two on the road to a thousand.Originally Posted by toxic avenger

Its amazing how far things have gone that the fact that Bertie signed this secret deal (i.e. on behalf of the irish people!) with someone who is clearly dodgy (i.e. the morrissey comment) and the 10k to richardson is not considered knock out. This was a stitch up with ahern on one side of the table and turner on the other.
Yes, the circumstantial evidence is growing, particularly around Dollars, but Moloney really has over-egged this particular pudding, Gilmartin's allegations are a hundred times more serious than this. Still, plenty of material to keep the Tribunal busy, I'm sure... Richardson (alongside Dunlop and perhaps Ambrose Kelly) is the key...
It is amazing when one considers what is happening in Britain regarding the payments to the Labour Party. I guess we are so inured to institutional corruption in FF that this sounds like business as usual and unfortunately nothing more.Originally Posted by Simbo67

Maybe I'll be more impressed after a few hours sleep..
Adds little or nothing to what was in Friday's paper. I think Golden Island in Athlone is where things will fall apart, if they ever do.Originally Posted by toxic avenger
