Deputy O'Cuiv insists Helpline for Farmers Under Stress Needs to be led by Teagasc

Dev Og continues his one man campaign to restore FF as the voice and conscience of rural Ireland. Calling on MWR today for Teagasc to become a Social Work service. . Only problem as pointed out by Sf Cllr Rose Walsh, HSE already providing the service. One can expect him to shortly call for the army to move into childcare services. DOH Eamon

Suit him better to look at Grattan beach closed in Galway due to ecoli. No doubt caused by the development he espoused in the area, one off housing and slurry. But then he will go to jail over his septic tank. I hope nobody helps him escape, and that he will not have a nervous break down like Dev.

He's new to Agriculture, it's Summer time and he needed a headline. Simple as that.

It does show how government departments have no connection with one another. I'm surprised both departments don't have separate phone lines...you know, just because this is Ireland!

    He knows nothing about agriculture.

A townie masquerading as a ruro-phile.Prepared to go prison because he will not pay a Euro per year because he does not believe his defective septic tank could/might cause ill health to his neighbours' children. Super patriot like his daft Grand Father.

Bit like his sister, Sile - who couldn't speak a word of Irish -in Clare, or anywhere else. for that matter.

Shame on her and Major 'Minor' in the now defunct 'Irish Press' group of newspapers.

Anglo-philes within two generations of the man who pledged to wade through 'rivers of blood' of fellow Irish people because they would not accept his 'nationalistic' view during the Civil War debate in the Dail, in which he was soundly defeated.

He (O Cuiv) hasn't an ounce social nuance in his body, much less his very, very limited brain.

I only hope that the HSE helpline is manned by fluent gaelgeoiri. Because if not, then watch out for that lanky b0llix demanding that it be closed down for being in breach of the Official Languages Act.
