    FF Members Day at Galway Races

    Anyone going to the members' day Friday? I probably am. Be a bit of craic if there were a few piers down there..

    Ah yes, the great gombeenfest of Galway, they will be celebrating putting Feis na Teamhrach in the shade (of a big ugly noisey smelly motorway), and all that easy gombeen gold to be gobbled up.

    I would say to drop along but then all your preconceptions and misconceptions would collapse. I doubt you'd want that. Its easier to insult without knowing the reality.

    I'm genuinely curious as to what that day is like. Do the builders ply all the members with drink while you discuss policy?
