Multiply this up and down the country over weekends over decades.
Then wonder why we have antiquated legislation in so many areas or no recent legislation in area of white collar crime, no proper discussion or understanding of economic matters in the Dáil and then wonder why we are so screwed!

Go to your c.councillor about the pothole. Vote against an TD who goes to a funeral.

Or if you prefer continue to vote for gob************************es!

" The term referred originally to a money-lender and became associated with those shopkeepers and merchants who exploited the starving during the Irish Famine by selling much-needed food and goods on credit at ruinous interest rates."

Yea, pretty much sums up the ethics of our "poverty pimp" politicians. Posters, in my view, are using the term correctly. Just look at those fabulous ministerial pensions being extracted from the taxpayers.

FYI...Poverty pimp or "professional poverty pimp" is a pejorative label used to convey that an individual or group is benefiting unduly by acting as an intermediary on behalf of the poor, the disadvantaged, or some other "victimized" groups.

Those who use this appellation suggest that those so labeled profit unduly from the misfortune of others, and therefore do not really wish the societal problems that they appear to work on to be eliminated permanently, as it is not in their own interest for this to happen.

Think about this the next time you call to your TDs clinic

Anyone who needs a backbencher to write a letter for him is hardly well-in with the Party.

After 25 year years (more or less) of FF governement, the judiciary as it stands is choc-a-bloc with FFers. If the present governement gave up its right to nominate judges the balance could never be rectified. It would be like saying that the RUC could be religion blind from a certian date, it wouold not work, it would take two generations to get a correct balance in the RUC, that was why positive discrimination had to be brought to the process.

The FFers are all over the Guards and RTE etc. It is a real problem that will not go away , even if the FF vote decined further. Despite De-Nazification in West Germany, well into the seventies, those who had joined the Nazi party in the thirties were still way ahead , career-wise, of those who stayed human in the thirties.

    De-FFing policy required ?
