How often do you watch the Dail proceedings----Perhaps you dont like Barrett and that is your prerogative--but as someone who watches the Dail proceedings regularly I think he is one of the most balanced and fair persons ever to occupy the office of Ceann Comhairle--and I can tell you it is not an easy job.

Rubbish. He is biased and arrogant. The wost Ceann Comhairle I can remember.

I hate FF and what they represent but on a personal level it is a bite below the belt to comment on his son. Sean adopted him and tried to give him a good life, but things didn't work out. I worked with kids who mixed with him and from what I heard, there is room for improvement. Sean's wife was very sick with cancer when all this trouble was going on.
I am not defending Sean but i am just giving an account of the background. I could tell more but there is no need.
And for what it is worth-I voted for Charlie Flanagan.

Thank you for this information. Let's hope it puts an end to the inappropriate comments about Sean Fleming's son.

Those here that continue to blame the parents for the wrong-doings of the adopted son obviously haven't experienced such heartbreak for themselves.
I have come across many youths from good backgrounds who have taken the wrong turn in life.
Alcohol and drugs have played a huge part in their errant behaviour.
Some wayward youths are simply not right in the head.
Decent families have gone through hell because of the actions of off-spring.
Walk a mile in their shoes before you condemn them.
