I read on another thread somewhere that Paddy Power will give you odds on something like this if you telephone them.
Based on your exact question, you should get good odds.
Unless PP is in generous mood, you cannot collect until Micheal dies.
It would double your pain of of listening to him and him living on a huge pension as you wait for him to die so as to collect your winnings.

Next Taoiseach after Enda Kenny - Irish Government Betting Odds - Paddy Power

Isn't this a scary thought considering what happened in the past ten years and especially the last 4.
The only reason he's got the shortest odds is that no-one knows who'll lead FG after Kenny steps down, as its unlikely that'll be until some time during the life of the next government, years from now. So if you look at the odds, you'll see that all six names listed apart from Martin are from either FG or Labour.
"Elite - a small superior group; esp one that has a power out of proportion to its size." (Oxford English Dictionary)

The majority cannot therefore be the elite.

It would take an all mighty cock-up by the present administration for FF to come within a shout of offering their leader as Taoiseach. Could not see this happen within one term in opposition.

Reminds me of Apocalypse Now - The Do Long Bridge scene.
Captain Willard (Martin Sheen) gets off the boat and goes ashore trying to find who is in charge and get some info.
After several attempts amidst the chaos, he gets back to the boat telling the crew that there aint anyone in command.

    or

It's not often that Norman Lamont gets quoted, but Michael Martin as FF leader "gives the impression of being in office but not in power"
