    FF's "new blood"celebrates her birthday

FF's "new blood" celebrates her birthday

apparently, the "yoof" vote was pivotal to her election. she has vowed to represent the young people of ireland upon her dead-cert appointment to Cabinet as minister for youth affairs if ff get into government

she demonstrated her youth and vigour during the election campaign by engaging in a mad kenny-esque rush around her constituency, shaking an estimated 5 million hands en route.

she also used phrases like "hip", "cool" and "no way, baby" during media interviews and encounters with yoof voters

"Mammy" O'Rourke for Ceann Comhairle. A belated birthday present from Bertie, perhaps?

Oul PJ has a few years on her though. Good to see FG bringing back some old new blood into the parliamentary party all the same, I'd say all Enda's electrification powers were needed on this one though.
Still, as father of the house, I'm sure its a case of the old dog for the long road with Enda

Outgoing Ceann Comhairle Dr Rory O’Hanlon will be oldest male TD in the Dáil at 73 years old.
BreakingNews getting this wrong...both PJ Sheahan and Jackie Healy Rae are older than Rory O'Hanlon.

In other news, rover starts another thread that's going nowhere slowly.

Estimated by whom? I estimate that there are less than twice the number of hands as there are voters.

O'Rourkes is the sort of TD that is Bertie's nightmare, the only support she can be relied upon to give is to the point of her toe up his arse - quite deep if she could do it. So much for his hopes of stable government - add McDaid and it will be a colourful time ahead for the man from Drumcondra.

Dublin posters can thank O'Rourke for prevaricating for about 2 years on the Luas as she passed the decisions to Consultants who eventually came up with the two lines that don't link. Par for the course set by the government - pretty crap.

Mary O'Rourke is an idiot, I say Bertie is very disappointed that Donie Cssidy didn't hold his seat. O'Rourke should heva been given her ministerial pension a long time ago.

I would say the most likely candidate for CC.
