    Analyst,
Genuine apologies, I realise it must have read much more offensive than intended.
I just got a first fit of the giggles when I saw the word spinster, then another one when I saw the extract from the dictionary, and I just decided to play along with that.
It was only meant as a bit of craic, I hope no hard feelings,

Yeah, I can just see PJ on the breadline having to put doughy white bread and margerine on the table like so many other Irish families at the time.

Im surprised the journos didnt pick this one up during the first Bertigate.

He lives in Seafield Road in Clontarf - it's a bog standard Clontarf House so I don't know what he needed so much money for when he was getting dig outs is a puzzle.

Was it not for his offshore accounts, they're very expensive to maintain, I've heard!

Oh yeah, there was another juicy bit in the report (2002) about how he mislead the tribunal with regard to an account on the Isle of Man.

.....and Bert still appointed him to the current role!

Are you sure, Earl? I remember reading something about PJ moving to Wellington Road about 12 years ago during or just after he was working with/on behalf of Tony Ryan. (and being congratulated on moving there by Eamon Dunphy, with whom he is supposed to have been socially close to at the time)
