Have to admit I fully support this idea. I am sick of having to pick between tweedle dee and tweedle dum. There should be major political reform in Ireland and finally eradicate Civil War politics.

Fine Gael are more terrified about being out-flanked on the right than anything else. An honest and pragmatic Fine Gael would embrace the idea of an alliance on the centre-right, certainly way ahead of the prospect of losing out to PD Version 2.0. Of course, Fine Gaels' Rural Ireland mob have quite recently scuppered their chances of electoral credibility with their own very public refusal to accept that Kenny is and always will be viewed as a career civil servant with all the imagination, intelligence and energy that such a career evokes. Put frankly, FG don't know what's good for themselves, let alone the country, so don't hold your breath.

The two of them together FF and FG wouldn't have enough brain cells to make a halfwit never mind a good honest party.

Well if FG are starved of brain cells, god help this country, I don't see anything coming from Labour.

Labour are just beating FF at their own game, FG don't know what the game is.
