    At last there is public aversion to Biffo from his own rank and file. Maybe they can just transfer him to NAMA as a non-performing toxic ass(et).

    Understatement of the century. The Irish taxpayer is going to end up paying perhaps close to 100 billion euro to clean up a banking mess that grew massively on his watch.

    Cowen clearly didn't understand the need for banking regulation, he thought it was something evil the blueshirts would come up with. So he let the banking cowboys run the show unfettered. And as long as the FF developers were getting the money, all was well, since as long as FF is looked after Cowen is happy.

    will there be a heave against cowen from within his parliamentary party?

    after all its only those guys and gals that can remove him before the next GE

    Just been listening to Cowen on the RTE News---to say that he was pathetic would be a gross understatement--if he had a shred of patriotism in his bones he would dissolve the Dail immediatly and allow the people to decide who they want to lead them out of the mess created in no small measure by Bertie and Cowan
