Could grandchildren LOSE votes for Bertie ??

i know this might sound silly....(it would have sounded silly to me 2 days ago)....but could the grandchildren cost ahern votes???

i was knocking on doors all day yesterday in rural areas with a good mix of ff, fg and neutral people, and it came up on every second door: "rocco and Jay"........

the reaction was incredibly negative. "theyre not named after saints anyway!" - was a joke that came up far too often

and more than one person compared it to david beckham/posh spice, and the nicky & georgina "hello magazine" wedding that caused controversy

has anyone come across any negative responses like this?

Hopefully Bertie's pals can organise another dig out to compensate Nicky and Georgina, so the millionaire couple don't have to sell the pictures of the grand-kids to Hello or OK, especially if part of the deal is the first picture of Grandpa with Rocco and Jay.

The responses to the names is very negative. However, I detected some sympathy for Bertie at having to put up with such stupid games for his grandchildren.

The electorate will realise that Berite is only a grandparent.

I always thought that Nicky tended to follow Beckham's hair styles, Beckham would always originate a style and Nicky would then have that style a few months later. So there is something in this.

However there are much better reasons not to vote for Bertie

Not Berties fault the parents are taken in by the "British Chav" culture - or is it?
