    Fair dues to him, the political pressure from FF for him to shut up will be massive. Fair play to him for resisting.

    I doubt it. I'd imagine many backbenchers (and some frontbenchers?) will add incidents like this to the (long) list of reasons for Cowen to go.

    He obviously suffered a lot, and perhaps it was good for him to vent, however he wasn't that coherent, and I'm not sure it does him service to consider it serious political commentary

    er...ok. Whatever your opinions, he has a huge amount of public sympathy. This thread is about him walking out and saying Cowen is a man without compassion, and how that will go down with FF TD's.
