If FF had sense, they'd leave Browne out of this, let some other patsy take a whipping, and introduce him for the GE when he has a far better chance.

With all due respect I don't think Fianna Fail need advice on how to win General elections , in saying that thank you for your suggestion and it will be given serious consideration and it has now been filed in the dustbin.

You heard a rumour.....it's not a slight on their character (though some would dispute that) so even if you are wrong it won't be defamatory.

I'd say that it could be...I honestly have no idea...but it smells like a groundless rumour put out there to fish for rumours.
Mullane is FG I think, there was a thread before about the possibility of him running in the locals(?)

If they employ you in HQ (as has been stated by others), they need all the advice they can get.

What's Lorraine Clifford up to these days?

    * It's not Jimmy O Gorman for anyone putting 2 and 2 together.Best not to name yet as it would be an awful slur against ones good name if untrue.
No party ever considers any by-election to be a shoo-in, and FG certainl;y don't believe this one is either. There's a big difference between your candidate being favourite, and the result being a "shoo-in".

I hear that Packie Bonnar is rumoured for Donegal, and Jimmy Keaveney, for Dublin bye election to replace Lee.

You can never beat FF, bit like Kerry in the all Ireland.
You'd think Kenny committed Treason and brought in IMF. Cowen had all in stitches in Galway at 3.30a.m.but he was "not impaired" -DD Power. FF=Publican páirtí an IMF.

    Jimmy Keavney?

Why not dig up 'bang-bang' while they are at it?

    Nonsense.
