Tony Browne Waterford and Mount Sion hurler has been mentioned, due to the fact his grandfather was Fad Browne (td for waterford during the sixties)

with all due respect to Tony, the reality is the other parties would relish having Tony as the FF candidate!

I would imagine that FF would be ready for any unexpected event or maybe there are no unexpected events occuring

I think posters should be aware that many names will be thrown about as regards the FF candidate in the 2011 by election but I can assure you that as of now it will be a female candidate .

Its surely a Waterford GAA all Ireland winner. Just one of 15
You'd think Kenny committed Treason and brought in IMF. Cowen had all in stitches in Galway at 3.30a.m.but he was "not impaired" -DD Power. FF=Publican páirtí an IMF.

If FF run a hurler it is obviously Tony Browne A great hurler indeed. However I can't see him winning the seat. GAA credentials aren't as powerful as they used to be. Years ago FF ran John Doyle in Tipperary ( and they don't come any more famous than that) and he failed to get elected. The GAA people in the Dail such as Jimmy Deenihan and John O'Mahony, are there I suspect, because they work like hell.

Could it be Superdan or maybe John Mullane? I'd love to see a political poster with Mullane's mad head on it.

You heard a rumour.....it's not a slight on their character (though some would dispute that) so even if you are wrong it won't be defamatory.

I'd say that it could be...I honestly have no idea...but it smells like a groundless rumour put out there to fish for rumours.
