    I'd suggest a few points.

Wasting billions on decentralisation, instead of just developing decent public transport in the city

Not investing in the city’s infrastructure until after the need becomes critical

Pissing money away on regional airports that contribute little or nothing in return, attempting and mostly succeeding in lumbering Dublin Airport with debt incurred building new terminals at Shannon and Cork, while letting Dublin run into a capacity problem.

Generally operating on the basis that the capital is a cash cow that can be ignored and milked for the benefit of the regions.

It’s actually about time that Dublin started seeing itself as a region and complaining.
However, banks know they have a duty of care to their clients and I'm sure that this should prevent them lending irresponsibly.

This post is a patent load of bolloxs seeing as we have had opinion polling here only since 1977!

I think this statement shows the root of FF's malaise.

Clearly the many potential voters in Dublin have issues with FF, a party that's stabbed Dublin in the back, once too often.

And the reaction of the faithful? To try and talk their way out of the mess by sending 'canon-fodder' canvassers to bamboozle an angry electorate.

It's not going to work this time.
