Wow. If true that's obviously a big move on McDaid's part.

Too late imo, FF will be wiped out in the North West generally. And he won't be missed.

    From Hyland Radio

Highland Radio Deputy McDaid to withdraw government support?

It is thought that Dr James McDaid could withdraw his support from government today if he follows through with comments sources say he made during an acrimonious meeting of Fianna Fail members last evening.

The meeting was called to appoint officers within the party for the old Letterkenny / Milford electoral area but when two position will filled by what could be described as Deputy Niall Blaney supporters there was a walk-out.

Dr James McDaid left the meeting accompanied by Councillor Tadge Cullburt, Victor Fisher and Councillor Kiaran Brogan and other supporters.

Well, one could hardly expect him to stage a protest because of FF's inability to manage the economy, the Health system, etc. etc..

I'll expect it to have some real effect when I see it.

Nah! Minor side issues. What matters is the goings on in the local cumann.
