If you think that Politics.ie actually influences the way most people vote, well then your stupidity matches your foolishness!!

They are not so much the best as the most successful. Politically the best is in the eye of the beholder. So in the eye of 39% FF constitutes "the best". Nonetheless I don't think there is any real majority consensus in our fragmented political-scene on who is "the best". For my part I consider the PDs to be the best because it was our party's presence in govt that led to the Celtic Tiger and substantial competition being introduced in the economy e.g. aviation, telecoms, shipping.

We are the best becausewe are the smartest
The FF party is the master of gombeen/stroke politics. It is like a worm. It has insinuated itself into evey aspect of Irish life.-organizations such as the GAA , IFA ,ICMSA, Trade Unions and Employers bodies. FF lackies in these organizations work tirelessly in their parties interest. FF hacks usually endeavour to control even the smallest village organizations. FF has the support of the majority of media outlets. It can face three ways simultaneously. It will never voluntarily admit to wrong doing. It behaves recklessly in opposition. It cynically sent Brian Lenihan to the US in an attempt to wreck the Anglo Irish agreement. Then worked it when it got into power. In opposition in 1986 it proclaimed that Health Cuts hurt the sick and poor. Once in government it butchered the health service. It will buy elections. The budget of 2002 was a prime example. It will dodge hard decisions. The Regulator now decides ESB and gas prices. The Health Executive provides cover for unpopular health decisions. FF TDs act simultaneously as government and opposition. Yet they will always vote with their party in the Dail. FFers label opponents. Dunny is a prime example. He is a master of the Blueshirt slur. HE forgets his parties BROY HARRIER past. If this is the best GOD HELP IRELAND.
