Is this another homeless charity to join and duplicate the already duplicated sector , millions are giving yet nothing gets done.

Lots of people that do nothing for the homeless community complaining about others doing something.
Not necessarily true. There are plenty of people working away in the background without making big, one-off, not fully thought through gestures.

You mean the people paying 50% tax on their income which is then poured into the homeless charity industry? Or is it only "artists" with nothing better to do during the working day who are "doing something"?

We pay enough tax in this country - we give enough. All these bleeding hearts on their big salaries and massive pensions are being paid enough to fix the problems, yet they seem to spend most of their time "raising awareness" rather than doing any actual work.

The number of people sleeping rough came from one of the groups working the homeless not the aurthorities, which one i don't remember. This house will be temporary as well because the people who own the building will go to court and get a injunction and the homeless will have to leave.
Maybe a very public stand off is what they are hoping for, this virtue signalling will be telivised.

I saw one of our blessed homeless on the ha'penny bridge the other day.
He got up and sprinted to a light blue Ford Ka on the southside of the bridge.
I saw him give money to the driver.
The driver gave him a small something in return.

In full view of everyone in the vicinity.

Awareness is a good thing, but it needs to be followed up with sustainable action. Something the "luvvies" seem to be unable to grasp. Charity, like puppies, is not just for Christmas. Or any other time of the year for that matter. Pointing that out is not meant to dis-incentivise, merely to ground things in reality. Which is where they need to be in order to make any real and impacting change.

Perhaps you should stop voting for FF/FG/Labour then? What do the homeless have to do with it?

You're talking to "Profit Before People" there...
    My own thought precisely.

Well done. You should give that to one of our newspapers. Mr. Anderson discovers that some homeless people are on drugs.
