    Does that explain it?

    Hi,

'A vote against the Treaty of Lisbon is a vote against a United Ireland'

Is that why Gerry Adams is, I understand, campaigning for a NO Vote?

Lisbon Isn't A Treaty it is a New Constitution for Ireland in disguise - already 80% of ALL law enacted by The Oireaches is merely rubber stamping for their masters in Brusells and the balance of 20% of the laws passed through The Museum of Irish Democracy, Limmerick House must by Treaty Statute be compliant with the laws of their Brusells masters.

    Regards,
    Greg L-W.

Whether or not this lack of ability is in fact true doesn't the clause above blow it out of the water.

Lisbon will allow Ireland to call on the French, Germans and Poles, for example, to assist in controlling post unification civil disturbance. It will make it possible for other member states to assist us if we need assistance.

The potential benefit for this country is far greater than the potential risk.

A vote against the Treaty is a vote for partition.
A vote against Lisbon is treasonous.
United as posessions, maybe. Catch yerself eoughnn, as they say in Ulster

Don't let history destroy the future - learn from it.

    Hi,

Sir that really is a stupid thing to say - liberated from vassal status in the centralised, undemocratic mallign EU - Ireland would be perfectly at liberty to call in any nationality of mercenaries to enforce the laws it had the ability to enact.

Whilst in the EU clearly The Oireaches has sold out your birthright and Ireland is directly ruled by the corrupt EU.

That this may not feed the chips on your shoulders, for it seems you are well balanced, nor the mythology of your chosen history - as an individual it is of absolutely no concern to me.

However the liberty of Ireland and the freedom of its people is so do stop your foolish whine.

Whilst you are squabbling like a drunken fishwife Ireland is being destroyed - stand up and be a man and stop snivveling about perceived slights in history at the risk of decent peoples' futures.

Oh and before you snivvel on YES I did enjoy my military service and I have served and worked with men of Eire who were both honourable and brave who would just laugh in slight embarrassment at your simppering.

    Regards,
    Greg L-W.

I voted No and I cannot see how a united Ireland as a vassal state of Europe is of our benefit. We could have been a vassal state and stayed united... under the UK.

We didnt break out from under England to run in under France and Germany.

But as history shows us, the 1801 act of union was rejected THREE times... yet forced through. Three rebellions later, we have a sort of freedom.

How many rebellions will it take to free us from Europe? They give to get us in, rights, money etc. The UK proised Catholic Emancipation - delivered 29 years later - better tenant rights - deleivered 70 years later - tenant ownership - delivered 100 years later.

What we lost? 1 million dead to famine.

Same as Ukraine under USSR... a state that promised so much.

Beware Greeks bearing gifts. Or French... or Germans.
In times where laws are unjust, its our duty to break them!!!

We have a cohort of influential politicians (who claim descendance from our freedom fighters; to whom they have erected statues and bursts all over the place) that not only do they not have an economic brain, but sovereignty and political nous is missing as well.
At the same time, youthful Ireland’s voting power in the EU is to be reduced by a factor of 2.5.http://www.johnfhiggins.eu/AFTER%20LISBON.Image2.jpg This is tantamount to handing over Leinster and the rest of Ulster to Germany, Poland or the UK! The majority of our own politicians expect us to vote for this!
In my reading of history, nations suffer such humiliation after been defeated in war!

Voting no to Lisbon would have allowed you the possibility to be the picture of smugness when Ireland goes down the pan in the very near future........give it a moment...any second now
Voting yes to Lisbon shows people just how ignorant you are of the ulterior motives of the political system in Ireland. How is the yes to jobs thing working out? Anybody? Hmmm?
If you voted yes to Lisbon I hope you can still look at yourself in the mirror, well done fu€k€rs

It's working out for the elites like Jim O'Hara of Intel who was appointed to Enterprise Ireland.
