You do know the commissioner who appointed her was fully in the know about her suspension from the OECD and actually was impressed with her principled stand re same.

When did the Commissioner tell you this and is it verified?
You do I presume know that the individual had not 'broken cover' when she was interviewed by the BBC on 'Hard Talk'.

You do know that others vindicated her stance there too?

Indeed I do - seemingly long after the event and in the main based on HER spin on the issue I understand.

Andreason has a spine of steel, she has been through the mill, intimidated, bullied and threatened, and it has moulded her for the battle ahead, and the 400 or so who met her know the woman has integrity and honesty and that her story is the truth, 400 who have fire in their belly, not to mention the 500,000 or so who heard her on Morning Ireland, The last word, and Tom McGurk. Why do you think Catherine day was despatched in a panic? The same Catherine who told us Marta Left! Marta was pushed because she refused to sign off on something rotten.

Thank you for your opinion which differs fundamentally from much source evidence, numerous established facts and my opinion based upon my reading, watching interviews and direct knowledge.

It is unfortunate that you feel a need in your insecurity to hide behind a false name whilst deliberately being insulting.

I regret I can ONLY provide my opinion based upon the facts of which I am aware.

She revealed in Dublin and Cork one simple truth, the E.U. budget buys political fidelty, it embeds corruption at national and E.U. level. when the commission cannot account for the 5% it spends itself, it emphasises the 95% that the individual nations (they tell us) are responsible for, only for us to discover the don't follow up on chastising the respective prime ministers, why? Because each Prime Minister with his or her party at some stage having control of the slush fund, has their support for the commisison and the E.U. bought, and when they leave national office, the next PM has the pork barrel at his disposal.

& Your point is? This is hardly revelatory!

Do you know Bernard Connolley? have you read his book, have you spoken with him etc.?

Maybe now we can understand why all of the politicians love the E.U. uncritically, maybe now we know why most of 700 MEPS won't criticise it.

Surely that can not have come as a surprise to you!
This and more has been a regular topic of conversation in my life for many years - long before Marta Andreasen became involved.

It takes a noble and principled soul to bite off the hand that feeds.

Have you read the details of the Court judgement?

Marta Andreasen was not prepared to compromise on sound auditing principles, she was not prepared to be bought off, to have her conscience dulled by the perks, and the well paid job, and the best schools for her children, if they had been young enough; or by the great pension. She was not prepared to fall into the trap of signing off only to be told later, well you did authorise payments, you did sign off on accounts, why did you do so if you thought there were serious errors, if you thought there was fraud?

Oh is that what she told you?

You see she knew once she did that, she too would be in the club, she too would have conscience dulled, she too would have been brought off. She was not interested in the corporatist Dacha.

So you have neither seen the Tim Sebastian interview, nor read the Court Judgement.

But she is not alone, there are a few others with her courage, her knowledge, and I look forward to their coming here too.

How very true and how very sensible, but do beware of 'sales pitch' and sourcing.

But remember Marta's words in her book while you are looking for dirt for smears, only she knows where the bodies are.
