    Simons is right.
    The EU has no competence in the area of gay marriage, so it's simply not a relevant issue for European elections.
    Her private opinion on the matter has no bearing on her suitability or otherwise for the job.

    Now, can we get back to arguing about the latest party/person Libertas has implied is pro-choice?
