    European Elections Lobby Op

Do you ever ask yourself why the Global South doesn’t get richer in spite of the aid given?

Are you worried about the impact of the financial crisis on developing countries, and concerned about global justice and inequality?

If you’d like to do something about it but just don’t know how,
then this workshop is definitely for you!!

    Dates and Times:
    Limerick - 30th April - Southcourt Hotel - 7.00-9.30pm
Waterford - 6th May - Immigrant Support Unit (ISU) at Mount Sion - 7.00-9.30pm
    Dublin - 9th May - The Teacher's Club - 2.00-5.00pm
    Galway - 12th May - Galway One World Centre - 7.00-9.30pm
    Dublin - 14th and 19th May - The Teacher's Club - 7.00-9.30pm

Take part in our workshop, a practical training which will prepare you take an active part in an EU wide campaign to get constituents talking to their MEP candidates.

The workshop will particularly focus on the unfair trade deals the EU is trying to negotiate with developing countries and on EU trade policy.
(Please don’t be put off by the trade bit – it’s not as complicated as you think!)

The workshop will be participatory and interactive, and supported by a beautiful lobby pack with lots more detail and information on the issues involved.

We all need to ensure our EU representatives work to bring about an EU which puts sustainable development and global justice at the heart of all of its policies.

Visit Comhlamh - Talk to your MEP about Trade Justice for more information. Please email fleachta@comhlamh.org to book your place on the course.

Corruption, tin pot dictators, African "Big Man" syndrome and an unwillingness to free up markets. Nothing to do with me in other words.
