Is there anywhere that a list of alternates is available?

In my constituency, I'd have doubts over whether Alan Kelly, Sean Kelly, Toireasa Ferris and Dan Boyle would run for the Dail and give up their seats if elected. Also Brian Crowley may choose to go for the Aras. Knowing who could replace them is an important part of making the decision on who to vote for.

IIRC it was printed on the ballot paper last time, but that's very late to make an informed decision.

Well, can't see Ferris outsing her dad... so don't think thats likely (or is M. Ferris due to retire???), Boyle is deadman walking... but wont get elected as MEP anyway so it's the two Kelly's... still think Ahern rather than Crowley will go for Aras.

Sure - they're here on the EP elections website. Click through to constituency, and there should be a link for the replacement candidates, although it's not there for every constituency yet.

Sf replacement candidates are strong . Eoin Ó Broin would be excellent.
