    Financial Times article on Libertas / Ganley

    FT.com / UK - Ireland's No vote dissenter spreads horizons

    I find this passage particularly interesting considering that fact that Libertas have claimed that they intend to spend 75m euro on their campaign:

    "They [Libertas] don't register at all," said Simon Hix, professor of European politics at the London School of Econ-omics, who predicted that Libertas would not win a single seat in June. It is still early in the campaign, however, and Mr Ganley has already demonstrated the dangers of underestimating him.

    Amazingly, Libertas itself touts this as 'another great article on Libertas'.

    The article can be paraphrased as follows:
    1. Libertas is heading for electoral annihilation;
    2. Ganley & co. are desperate to keep any real substance out of the debate;
    3. Ganley is a crook.

    The article contains some of the claims that Libertas & Ganley himself have always dismissed as 'smears'. Yet now Libertas is promoting this article, linking to it, encouraging its followers to read it. So what is their strategy? Are they finally coming clean and admitting that these 'smears' may have been true?

    I've been saying that since last year (for Britain), the first anywhere to say it, and I get attacked and called a Libertas supporter...
