    Dublin predictions for European elections

Will Mary Lou hold her seat? Will FF take a drumming? How many votes will Joe Higgins get? Can De Rossa top the poll?

My guess is that she will.FF have no chance of retaining their seat.

Would love Joe Higgins to get in.

FG & Labour will get their. Really don't know about SF.

I would imagine De Rossa and Mitchell are safe.

Then we have McDonald, Ryan, Bacik and Higgins, which is difficult to predict as it will depends on who is eliminated when.

Anyone know of any recent polls...?

Would you say Labour voters would give transfers to Higgins?

I'd say Joe Higgins would get better support this time against the SF supporters. People seem to have got tired of Mary Lou McDonnell. Not against the party but Mary lou I have found

Well I will be ... (though I will have consider exactly how far I can get my stone to skip).

I think if Higgins can get ahead of McDonald he has a good chance of taking the 3rd seat. FG and Labour only have a very outside chance of an additional seat. FF are in free-fall. FG transfers may be spread but Labour's are likely to go to Higgins/McDonald/Ind than others. FF may pick some up from the Greens but I'll wager they won't be too numerous. Assuming it boils down to Higgins/McDonald/Ryan then if the 1st is eliminated then McDonald would probably be in, if the 2nd or 3rd then its hard to call. But then it's a long way away ...

I think that De Rossa's activity on voting against Ireland will be used against him and it will have an effect on his chances of holding his seat.
