Ganley denies rift in Libertas: Irish Times

I assume by implication that the Times are alleging that John McGuirk's nose is out of joint. Although I would have thought the Irish Times would be the last place on earth to get any inside gossip on Libertas.

Ganley denies rift in Libertas - The Irish Times - Tue, Jan 20, 2009

Note: It seems I incorrectly assumed that John McGuirk was still the Libertas Communications Director. Apparantly it is another person.

    Smear tactics.

I'd expect nothing less from the pro-establishment "paper of record".

“This is complete rubbish . . . I’ve probably met you more than Mr O’Toole over the past few months,” said Mr Ganley.

What do you mean by "out of joint"? I never heard that expression before.
Every one sees what you appear to be, few really know what you are, and those few dare not oppose themselves to the opinion of the many, who have the majesty of the state to defend them.

They're in the Irish Times aren't they? So one has to assume false until proven false...

I wonder if Madam will be looking for a bailout for the 'paper of record' soon? What with all these bankers going to the wall who will buy her wonderful paper?
