    In modern democracies the authority of the parliament is temporarily devoluted from the sovereign authority of the people. Hence, in case of conflict and after a referendum, the people prevails.

    No he's saying, as usual, whatever you want him to say.

    Just as our referendum result means whatever you want it to mean- except a clear, rejection of the Lisbon Treaty.
